German Program

The German language in today's world is one of most spoken languages in Europe. It is an official language in a number of countries including Germany, Austria, Belgium, and Switzerland. It is in fact the most used language in the European Community. It is also a business language used globally thanks to the success of such companies as Siemens, Bayer, BMW, and Porsche.

In the area of culture, it is in the German language that such great writers of the 20th century, among them Freud, Marx, Kafka and Nietzsche wrote their masterpieces. It is also the language of the great musical composers such as Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart. Sprechen Sie Deutsch?

All students must pass a placement test before they can register for a course.

All students who have completed and passed a particular level or course and who wish to register in another level or course can do so without passing a placement test as long as it is done within 6 months of finishing the previous course.

Tests are free every Wednesday. The following are the times for placement testing for the different languages that we teach:

French and English :
12:30pm – 5:30pm
Spanish : 12:30pm – 5:30pm
Italian : 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Portuguese : 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Mandarin : 4:30pm – 5:30pm

There is a $20 charge for testing at all other times.
